Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown by IHG

Everybody was very friendly and as a woman I felt very safe when alone in the area where the hotel was located. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were lots of restaurants just a short walk away with a variety of cuisines. We had not pre-ordered breakfast but ate it there every day. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were very efficient and friendly and there was a good choice on both the continental option and the full breakfast option. As somebody who doesn't like bacon and eggs etc. I found a lot of healthy options on the continental breakfast buffet. It was easy to get to the cruise port and waterfront from the hotel. We walked there every day except when we were taking our suitcases to the ship.

I cannot fault the hotel and its staff and so have no suggestions for improvement.

Reasonable

Because of renovation no assistance with luddage assistance to rooms. No access to rooms on floor 2 using a lift only stairs. I felt sorry for elderly people.

Very comfy bed large room.

That I couldn't buy a coffee on site.

I can't say I liked anything really. The room was fine, but not what I expect from a Holiday Inn and Suites.

The parking was quite a problem. Very tight spaces and not a lot of space between rows to get parked without a lot of back and forth. The bathroom is very small. For the price I had expected breakfast included, but it wasn't.
