About this house rental
The detached farm house 'Rustico la Tinaia' is located at 200 meters above sea level, with a fantastic view of the Versilia coast. It is surrounded by hills Tuscany nature, but is at 15 km from sea (Viareggio) and 5 km from highway (Massarosa, LUCCA).
La Tinaia is an ancient stone farm house ideal for 4-6 people or two families. There are two kitchens and two entrances and an exclusive nice garden. The rustic house has been completely restored with original stone, wood and cork, photovoltaic panels and heat pumps.
At the street level there are: the entrance with the stairs, the great blue bathroom, the romantic double bed room, and a large room (20 sqm.) with 2 sofa bed and a living area with a modern kitchen. The stairs leading to the ground floor and the garden, there is a cozy living-dining room with a sofa/bed, the well equipped wood kitchen, the second bathroom and another room with the double bed. The ground floor opens onto the fenced private garden with area for breakfast, there is pergola-porch and a shaded cozy gazebo.
On the windows there are mosquito nets and blackout curtains. The house is furnished with care and rustic furniture.
The house has air conditioning , TV , washing machine , security door and is monitored by cameras on the borders.
All inclusive: Wi-Fi, electricity, water, linen, towels.
Outside the House:
The exclusive garden is well equipped and is enclosed with a rustic fence and with the gate on the street. It's a beautiful isolated space where you have breakfast or can relax in the sun or in the shade of the pergola/portico or in the gazebo, you can enjoyed of the flowers and butterflies and of the herbs wonderful for cooking.
The house has the typical Tuscany hills landscape, and the beautiful view of Tirreno sea with Capraia and Gorgona islands and Corsica also, when it's clear, and Puccini-Massaciuccoli lake. The access road ends at the house La Tinaia so without traffic.
Parking is free: near the house or about 40-80 meters.
The house is close to Lucca (20 km) and Pisa (30 km) and Firenze (100 km).
La Tinaia is an ideal starting point for trekking and cycling tours, it is near Via Francigena also!
Grocery-butchers shop, restaurant and bar are about 500 meters. Facilities, market and shops just 3 km (Stiava and Massarosa).

We stayed here for 10 days as a family (two adults, 1 child, 1 dog) and had a wonderful time. The house is well kept and charming. The hosts were great and friendly and we felt very welcomed. The house is up in the hills / mountains with a somewhat challenging (but easily managable) drive and is about a 20 minute drive to the beach.We treuly relaxed here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to say in Tuscany.

House is old, over 250 years old, fully renovated, with everything you need to spend time with your family.
The view from was amazing.
Anything we didn’t like? No. Maybe driving this crazy mountain was tiring but this is Tuscany- you get the view when you learn how to drive UP.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questa casa molto curata, pulita e perfettamente ristrutturata. Si trova su una collina e dal terrazzo giardino si gode un panorama favoloso, di giorno e di notte. Tutto intorno pace e quiete. Il borgo consta di poche case e la strada carrozzabile termina davanti alla casa. Ci sono diverse possibilità di escursioni panoramiche anche partendo dal paese. Le spiagge libere più belle e vicine sono quelle di Torre del Lago. Ringraziamo Donatella per averci accolto con cordialità e disponibilità nella sua casa molto confortevole per una piacevole vacanza.

Casa molto bella in collina, molto pulita e arredata con molta cura. La proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. Le località della Versilia raggiungibili con pochi minuti di auto. È inoltre molto vicina sia alla città di Lucca che alla città di Pisa.
