We loved staying at Limeri it was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our families needs. The views were amazing, sounds of goat bells and wildlife made it such a special place. The star gazing on the vast veranda was spectacular. We loved Rocky the very friendly dog which guarded us from down the hill. No bother at all. Air con was a real treat but possibly not needed. We barbecued every night and facilities were such that we ate in most nights. Most tavernas sold the same food which was why the first one in Armeri on the right was great as they served you what was on that night which was all different to the usual. Maria was very attentive for her father Andreas to all our needs. Although Andreas was the dooer but not as good English as Maria.
So thanks Andreas and Maria we’ll never forget our stay. X

The house is very big and pleasant. The principle room is just awesome with is large bay window and it amazing vue. Bedrooms are quiet, every thing is very functional.
The only point is the swiming pool which is smaller than we expect, despite that we appreciate very mutch our stay in the house.

We were one week in the villa Limeri (two adults and two children - age 2 and 7). The villa had everything what we needed. Was very nice designed and placed so great, that we could have a breakfest at the terrace with the great vier over the mountains. It is very quiet area with only herds of sheeps spoiling the silence. The pool at the villa was also clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for the trips to the north coast (20 min drive to Rethymno) or to the south coast (40 min drive to Plakias). Andreas, who is the owner and who build the house, has his own dog living in the small house next to the villa. But one does not have to be bothered about the dog, if you are scared of the dogs etc.
The only thing which we would say was a bit negative, that the area around the pool has a lot of stone steps and small walls, which were a bit of worry for our younger son (2 years old). We had to have an eye on him.
But in general, we have only good memories from our stay the villa and would definitely recommend it to the people, who want to avoid crowds of tourists and noisy towns.
