Located close to downtown, this modern farmhouse has enough square footage for 4 to 6 people. With multiple living areas, there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find a bit of privacy. This home is a perfect combination of roomy farmhouse and clean, contemporary design. The main living area is sleek and comfy, with two overstuffed black leather sofas facing the mounted flatscreen television. Pops of bright red can be seen in the throw pillows and drapes, while a built-in bookshelf mantel adds warmth and character. This is the perfect room to relax in the evenings with a great movie and a huge bowl of buttery popcorn.
Just off the living area is a clean and friendly kitchen. The cheerful red from the living room continues here, with eye-catching red countertops. White cabinets, a stainless steel refrigerator, and a large island with a sink create an efficient spot to brew the morning coffee and bake some warm muffins in the mornings. Unmistakable farmhouse charm can be seen in the island trim and doors.
On the first floor, the spacious master suite is peaceful and private. The king-size bed is surrounded by large windows that allow the natural light in. A small seating area and ensuite bathroom create a lovely retreat to recharge at the end of a long day. Two bedrooms upstairs include two twin-size beds and a queen-size bed. I am really grateful we had the opportunity to stay with Boyd's Bungalows in Kokomo. We had an emergency visit to the area for our dog to be treated at Purdue University. The property managers had excellent communication with us and even in the late hours of the evening. I could honestly praise and rave the management to the moon and back. They are wonderful people and their properties are beautiful, clean, and convenient for any needs. Thank you so much for being such gracious hosts!
