Located in Staffordshire, within the Staffordshire Peak District and very close to the National Park, Foxtwood provides a fabulous location for all the family. From relaxing breaks for two to an energetic family holiday, you will experience the best of what’s on offer within walking distance, including stunning wildlife, beautiful scenery, great walks from the door, a pub, tearooms and even the Churnet Valley Steam Railway.
Introducing Archway, a spacious and inclusive cottage accommodating up to five guests with a delightful mix of comfort and functionality. This ground-floor accommodation offers three bedrooms – a king-sized room with a private en-suite, a twin-bedded room, and a smaller room featuring a single bed. A well-appointed main bathroom boasts both a shower and a bath, providing ample space for your convenience.
Archway’s open-plan living area fosters a sense of unity, ensuring no one misses out on conversation or quality time while preparing meals in the kitchen. The garden extends straight from this living space for those warm, sunny days, making it simple to move your dinner outdoors and delight in al fresco dining amidst the soothing symphony of chirping birds.

Adaptable to the needs of all guests, Archway has been thoughtfully designed to provide ease of mobility for wheelchair users or those with limited abilities. The ground-floor layout features a ramped entry, wider doorways, and ample space for easy navigation. The kitchen and dining areas are arranged to be user-friendly for all, with wheelchair-accessible design features, including a dining table with a cut-away side for wheelchair arms.
The bathroom is designed for maximum convenience, with fold-down arms around the toilet, grip rails above the bath, and a flush-entry shower complete with a fold-down seat.
The outdoor areas, including the garden and courtyard, are level for easy access, and there’s parking space for one car just a few yards from the door.

The BBQ pit needs to be booked at an extra charge of £30 a session which 5pm to 10pm the £30 booking includes a bucket of charcoal and a trug of logs, which should be sufficient for a small group of up to 6.
Extra charcoal or logs can be purchased at £10 each. If the area is not booked, you are very welcome to go and picnic or relax at no charge.
There is table football, a magnetic dart board, table tennis, little scooters, trampoline, swing and slides, swing ball and piano in the communal games area which is separate to the cottage and shared with the other guests.
