Langsdale Lodge is a splendid lodge resting in the South Lakeland Leisure Village in Carnforth, Lancashire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
The Space:
Single-storey. One king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC, and one twin bedroom with TV and DVD player. Shower room equipped with a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail, and a WC. Open-concept living area with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with electric woodburning stove. There is central heating and an electric woodburning stove. The kitchen hosts a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. For entertainment, there are two Smart TVs, one with Sky and WiFi. Fuel and electricity are included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Parking is available off-road for one vehicle. Decking and furniture in the garden. Sorry, no smoking allowed. 1 mile to the nearest shop, 0.1 mile to the nearest pub. Langsdale Lodge is a wonderful dwelling for an escape to Lancashire.
The Neighborhood:
A few miles north of Carnforth, the Tewitfield Locks on the Lancaster Canal may be found on the border between the Southern Lake District and the Western Dales. There is now a marina and a new 'hamlet' at the locks, which includes its own moorings, grounds with a playground and a popular country pub and restaurant. An educational farm with its own craft centre, cafe, bakery and butcher's store is nearby. A tropical hall and butterfly house are two of the many attractions of the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, which is located in a gorgeous rolling countryside.
