Lakeside Barn, consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, a utility with washing machine, a sitting room with Smart TV, two sofas, and two armchairs, and a game room with sofa and pool table. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite, two king-sizes, ground-floor double, and twin. There is a bathroom with bath and basin and WC and shower room with walk-in shower and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio and lawn, enclosed front garden with gravelled area, and ample off-road parking. Please note: This property only accepts check-ins and check-outs on Mondays and Fridays. Please note: Saturday 27th December is available for bookings, please enquire to book.
The Neighborhood:
Aylsham is a pretty market town in the Bure Valley in the heart of Norfolk. It has a lovely selection of pubs, including The Black Boys Hotel, The Unicorn and The Feathers, a good selection of shops where you can stock up on essentials, and the delightful Old Tea Rooms for a sweet treat! Within the town, you can enjoy the delights of Aylsham Heritage Centre, Bure Valley Railway, and Redwings Aylsham. Be sure to visit nearby Blickling on the town’s outskirts, where you can tour the esteemed National Trust site of Blickling Hall. Continue to North Walsham, where you can visit the Norfolk Motorcycle Museum and Purdy’s Marsh, or to Cromer for a taste of the coast, with its bustling pier, beautiful beach, Amazona Zoo and Cromer Museum. Further afield, you will find the Georgian town of Holt, where you can peruse boutiques, spend an afternoon in Holt Country Park, follow the Holt Owl Trail and check out the art at Bircham Gallery, along with the city of Norwich, home to a magnificent cathedral, the Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, Strenger’s Hall, and Norwich Playhouse.
