Located in the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park, it’s close to historic sites, the D-Day Beaches, and Carentan’s center.
The open-plan ground floor features a dining area leading to the kitchen and veranda, and a living room with two sofa beds for extra sleeping space, separated by a sliding partition. In the entrance, you’ll find the shower room, a separate toilet, and the staircase. The house is heated by a wood stove.
Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with three singles—and a bathroom with toilet. Baby equipment is available on request.
On the landing, there’s a relaxation area with a bench.
The south-facing façade and veranda open onto a 40 m² terrace and a private enclosed garden.
Parking is at the rear in a private courtyard with three spaces, two under a carport where an electric vehicle charging station is available.
Carentan les Marais, with its historical heritage, guided tours, marina, tree-lined promenade, towpath, and river walks to explore the marshes, ensures you’ll have a pleasant stay. The house’s location is ideal for visiting the D-Day Beaches: Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Pointe du Hoc.
