Nestled in the rural village of Lindsey, this charming cottage offers an idyllic experience for a couple or family, with two bedrooms sleeping four guests. It’s a true home-from-home, offering a roaring wood burner, characterful exposed woodwork, and a large, wrap-around garden to enjoy the sunshine.


Inside, the homely downstairs space is warm and welcoming. The living room features a wood burner, comfortable sofas, and a Smart TV, perfect for enjoying a movie in front of the fire on chillier days. The kitchen has everything you need to make mealtimes a breeze, and your culinary creations can be enjoyed around the dining table in the living area. A cloakroom on the ground floor adds to the convenience. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms tucked under the sloping eaves of the roof, one king-size and one twin, sharing a gleaming family shower room. The garden is a generous space with mown paths winding through pockets of wildflowers, leading to a large pond where you can watch wildlife. Benches are strategically placed around the garden for moments of relaxation throughout the day. Additionally, an outdoor dining table and chairs offer a perfect setting for al fresco suppers.


The village features a fantastic pub within 100 metres of the home, and numerous scenic walks and cycling trails begin directly from the doorstep. Lindsey is surrounded by quaint villages like Kersey (3.5 miles) and Lavenham (6 miles), renowned for their timber-framed buildings. The Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty begins 9.5 miles away, meandering along the River Stour, and encompassing the villages of Dedham, East Bergholt, and Flatford – all charming destinations to visit during your stay. For a day at the seaside, the Suffolk coast is a 25-mile day trip away. The owner has a choice of adult bicycles to borrow during your stay, at no extra cost. Bring your own helmet if you have one; owner can supply two helmets, hi-vis, and locks and lights. Perfect for exploring the quiet country lanes, historic pubs and churches.
