About this cottage rental

Sail Away is a beautiful, modern and spacious house located in Brixham, on the Furzeham Green side and sleeps up to seven guests. The house enjoys elevated, sweeping views over Torbay, with the parkland of Furzeham Green in the foreground. Sail Away is in an ideal location to explore Brixham on foot. The busy, historic harbour, restaurants and bars are all within a 5 minute walk down the steps. Due to the elevated position of the property it offers guests somewhere quiet away from the main town when it is time to wind down. Take a leisurely walk back up the steps and enjoy the gorgeous sea views with a glass of wine from the patio terrace. Opposite the property is Furzeham Green, this park is dog friendly all year round and has absolutely stunning views of the bay and the breakwater. It is a beautiful sight to behold when the cruise ships anchor in front of Torbay. Fishcombe Cove is less than ten minutes walk away with its award winning cafe and dog friendly beach.


Sail Away has private garage parking in the block around the back of the house. The garage is suitable for an estate or 4x4 (garage is 3.0m wide x 5.5m long and 1.8m clear height).


As you enter the house you are greeted by a spacious hallway and a view through the open plan layout to the sea. From the hallway you can access the well equipped kitchen with a large fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and dining table. The living room is spacious and flooded with light, enjoying a panoramic view through the full height patio windows. Furniture includes two, high end, leather sofas with a leather armchair and state of the art OLED TV. The patio can be accessed via the large sliding doors. With four bedrooms, there is ample space for all the family and the property offers two bathrooms for guests providing plenty of comfort and ease of use.

Outside Space: Sail Away has two outdoor areas. A large sea view terrace with views of the sea and over to Torbay; there is a large table with seating provided for seven people. A small sunny patio by the entrance door is equipped with a bistro set, ideal for morning coffee.


Parking: Garage parking available (3.0m wide x 5.5m long) in the garage block behind the house (1.8m clear height).


Changeover Day: Saturday - Arrival: 5pm 17:00 - Departure: 9am 9:00


Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.


Pets Welcome: Maximum of 1 Dog Accepted. £25 per pet per week.


Power and Heat: Electricity is included in the rent. Electric wall mounted heaters in each room. Heated towels rails in the bathrooms.


Bedding & Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided. (Please bring your own beach towels).


Baby Equipment: Travel Cot, High Chair and Stair Gate (please bring your own linen for the travel cot)


Shop: 0.6ml Pub: 0.2ml


Notes - Barbeques and candles are not permitted on the property. No Smoking. Maximum of 1 pet accepted. Short breaks accepted in low and mid-season. WiFi Provided. Good mobile phone coverage.
