Bursting with quaint independent shops, cafes and pubs, the village is renowned for its mystical heritage, once home to the white witch Sybil Leek, and there are intriguing ‘witchy’ shops throughout. It’s also well placed for meeting the region’s wildlife, with wild ponies and donkeys roaming freely. Hire a horse or bike to explore the wonderful bridleways and trails that originate in the village. Ringwood is just 6 miles away while Mudeford, Hengistbury Head, and Lymington are all within 10 miles – you never have to travel far for delightful days out in this enchanting destination.
