Lyme Regis Beach offers lapping waters for paddling or head around to the Cobb for a boat trip and a spot of sea fishing. The coast is a fossil lover’s paradise, head to Monmouth Beach (1 mile) for a guided fossil-hunting walk. The South West Coast Path is easily accessible, offering breathtaking coastal views for walkers and hikers. For a day trip, hop over the border into Devon and discover foodie Axminster and the charming Seaton Tramway (8 miles). Lyme Regis is also host to several festivals and events all through the year including, jazz and folk festivals, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, Food Rocks and Lifeboat Week to name but a few.
