Savour the splendour of this sumptuous farmhouse with your family or friends when you book a group stay in Norfolk. Sleeping 12 guests, the magnificent, seven-bedroom farmhouse nestles in the 55-acre estate of a stately home at Kimberley, 12 miles from Norwich. Beautifully finished and with a wealth of gorgeous, original features, the spacious Grade II-listed retreat is just the place for your special celebration.
Wander inside to find a combination of period character and contemporary comfort. Leave your outerwear in the boot room and amble through to the attractive, orangery-style kitchen/diner to make fresh coffee in the barista-style machine. Open the doors to the garden on fine days and gather round the table to feast. A handy utility room and WC are also here. Spread out into the library, snug or one of the two lounges to relax together. Light the wood burner and find a good film on the Smart TV that everyone will enjoy. Head up to the first and second floor to luxuriate in an exceptional night’s sleep. Three super-king-sizes, with en-suite bath or shower rooms, are on the first floor, together with a twin room which has access to a Jack and Jill bathroom. Another, super-king-size room, a twin room and a queen-size room are on the second floor. A family shower room and en-suite shower room are also here. Spend summer afternoons playing on the grass with the children, cooking on the BBQ and relaxing on the terrace. Amble off on long walks through the exquisite parkland grounds, or destress in the newly fitted sauna.
Head into Wymondham, 3.5 miles away, to see the famous abbey. Plan day trips into Norwich to go shopping, dine out and visit the historic cathedral and castle.
