About this cottage rental
Perfect for a gathering with a large family or group of friends, this seaside cottage boasts a panoramic sea view and is located just moments from the charming harbour of Porthleven. Only 30 metres from the nearest beach, this delightful first-floor apartment enjoys seclusion that will allow you to get away from the daily grind.
Make your way into the hub of the house: the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Here you’ll find a cosy space equipped with deep sofas and a TV for watching your favourite films. The compact, yet neatly organised, kitchen is primed for those tasty dishes, while the balcony provides seating for dining alfresco. Watch the waves roll in and out over a bottle of something fizzy, and take time to catch up with your dearest friends. When it’s time to turn in, choose from a selection of beautiful bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite, a twin room, and a single room. Wake up refreshed and take your piping hot cup of tea out to the balcony to sip away whilst basking in the sea air.
Pub visits, souvenir shopping and coffee shop trips are all possible in Porthleven, but the real draw is the beach. Just 300 metres from the property are sparkling sands, glistening waters and plenty of sandcastle-building opportunities. Up the pace with a trek along the 630-mile-long South West Coast Path. A 5-mile route takes you through rugged woodland and incredible views, landing you at Loe Bar for a pit stop of Cornish pasties and pints of ale. Thrill-seekers will want to try out the whizzing Sky-Force ride at Flambards Theme Park (3.5 miles), while explorers will enjoy the rolling parklands of the National Trust site Penrose (1 mile).
