Sheringham is a spectacular part of the coast to explore for nature lovers, cyclists, and walkers, with the Norfolk Coastal Path less than 500 metres away, where you can walk the 8 miles to Cromer. Bird watchers must visit the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea (8 miles), and Blakeney Point (9 miles) offers the opportunity to take a boat trip to see the seal colonies. The famous Poppy Line runs steam and diesel trains between Sheringham and the Georgian market town of Holt and is less than 500 metres away. Spend the day in Holt following the Owl Trail or exploring the mixed woodland trails through the country park.
