Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, this is an idyllic accommodation option if you’re seeking a tranquil hideaway that’s surrounded by Norfolk’s peaceful farmland and water meadows. During the day, explore the village’s beautiful medieval hall and its quaint 14th century church; and in the evening, come home to relax in the cottage’s cute summer house. Pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and take in the wonderful views over the mill pond.

Step inside this beautiful waterside property and you'll be delighted by its light and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Make yourself at home in the lounge area, which features exposed beams and a beautiful vaulted ceiling, before heading to the sleek kitchen area. Whip up some dinner to enjoy with your loved ones around the dining table. Or head outside, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco in the courtyard while taking in the view over the mill pond. After dinner, head to the garden’s summer house and unwind with a drink while the stars come out, or retreat to the living area to warm your toes in front of the wood burner. When it’s time for bed, there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from.

Treat yourself to a vineyard tour and learn all about the winemaking process at the charming Elsing Winery (1.5 miles). Savour the flavours of the region’s wines while taking in the tranquil vineyard views. Alternatively, take a stroll through the historic streets of the village of Elsing (1.5 miles). See the ‘Secret Priest Hole’ at the medieval Elsing Hall and stop off to smell the roses in the pretty garden.
