The location was just what we were looking for. Calm and peaceful and very rural but in easy reach of plenty to do and places to visit. The hot tub was fantastic and the lodge was really well equipped. We all slept really well in comfy beds and loved the beautiful gardens. The kids enjoyed the games room and we all really enjoyed the overall experience.
We had a slight issue with the door but the hosts came straight away and sorted everything out for us and we were so impressed with their speed of offering support.

The location was amazing, the hot tub was an added on extra we absolutely enjoyed our stay, the beds were so comfty and the cooking appliances all worked amazingly, we had 6 of us staying in here and we ended up running overtime doing extra cleaning and stripping beds to help the host but instead we received a blunt message but all was fine and we understood, I wouldn’t ask for beds to be done if it’s such an early check out

Our arrival .. Property phenomenally clean and welcoming.. lovely touch of flowers and chocolates on arrival and garden secure and perfect for our dog .. Hot tub and games room perfect to keep our teenage children occupied..

The keys were in a key safe on the wall outside and we were given a code which was great. We had trouble with shutting and locking the main front door and opening the door onto the patio.
There could have been some more crockery and cutlery as once you'd loaded the dishwasher, there was none left for the next meal unless you washed it up.
Also the grass had been cut but not picked up which meant it was trapsed inside and outside the lodge the whole time and impossible to avoid so it would have been better for this to have been picked / raked up before our stay.
Also we felt the lady owner was not very friendly.
