Explore the farm and take the children to meet the animals. Head out from here on beautiful country walks. Have a thrilling day out at the UK’s oldest theme park, Blackgang Chine, 4.5 miles away. Clamber over the rocks or swim, go fossil hunting and potter in the rockpools at scenic Steephill Cove, 5.5 miles away. Walk a section of the 70-mile-long Isle of Wight Coast Path for spectacular coastscapes and dramatic cliff-top views. Plan a day out to Cowes, 13 miles away, to amble along the waterfront, watch the yachts coming in and out and visit Osborne House.


Let yourselves into this charming retreat, which nestles in a charming courtyard setting on the friendly farm, to discover welcoming accommodation. Find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where sun streams in through the windows and you can kick back and relax between your busy excursions. Prepare meals in here on those occasions you choose not to dine out. Sink back into the plump sofas to chat over a cup of tea, with the door to the garden lodged open on warm summer days. Find your favourite programme on the TV, read a few pages of your book or play a game at the table. As the sun sets on each day away in your rural surroundings, make your way through to the bedroom. This has been set up to suit a couple or a small family, with both a king-size bed and a single. The family bathroom, which has been fitted out with a bath and a shower, is also accessed from the hall.


Carry your first cup of tea of the day out into your private garden on fine mornings to drink at the table. Grill fresh Isle of Wight produce on the BBQ out here later on, then linger over a bottle of chilled wine long into the balmy evening. This cottage comes with private, off-road parking for one car.
