About this cottage rental
Situated in the vibrant market town of Woodbridge, just moments from the banks of the River Debden and the brink of the Suffolk Coast AONB, this lovely cottage is instantly welcoming for up to six guests. The property, which is also dog-friendly, offers a superb home-from-home with contemporary fixtures, comfortable furnishings and an overall sense of peace and tranquillity. It lends itself perfectly to any group of family or friends eager to explore the wider Suffolk countryside, be it through trips to local beaches or a train journey to some of the other picturesque towns and villages nearby.
With modern laminate flooring, a skylight and French doors leading directly to a spacious garden, the property’s kitchen/diner acts as a wonderful central hub. Throw open the doors for BBQ evenings, take tea at the casual breakfast bar or sit down together at the dining table. Next door sits a lovely lounge with snug seating positioned around a flame-effect fire and a Smart TV for those cooler evenings in. Find all three bedrooms, each served by a stylish family bathroom, on the first floor. The largest room is a fabulous king-size with a zip-and-link bed and the other two are doubles.
With a weekly market, independent boutiques and plenty of good pubs and restaurants, the river-side town of Woodbridge is a real Suffolk gem. Connected by train or just 9 miles in the car is neighbouring Ipswich, a large town with independent theatres, parks and the fascinating Christchurch Mansion (8.5 miles). Younger guests will also love Jimmys Farm & Wildlife Park (12.5 miles) or the Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm (20.5 miles) in the surrounding countryside. For beautiful beaches, head into the coastal AONB and discover Orford Ness (12.5 miles) or the vibrant seaside spot of Aldeburgh (18.5 miles).
