Centrally located in the ancient Cornish village of Bossiney and 200 metres to the beautiful North Cornwall coast path, it is just another 10 minutes walk to Tintagel, the renowned birthplace of King Arthur. For full dramatic effect, Tintagel Island and Castle ruins are best approached by coastpath from Bossiney but easily accessed by paved road too. Many centuries before the castle was built, the flat topped island was a powerful ceremonial centrepiece of Cornwall. Similarly the church of St Materianna was a spiritual site of ancients. In nearby Tintagel village are the Old Post Office and King Arthurs Halls as well as many eateries and shops.
Leaving Bossiney to the north leads to intriguing St Nectans Glen with its atmospheric waterfall and Rocky Valley.
The serpentine harbour of Boscastle is three miles away.
Beautiful Bossiney Haven and Banoath Cove are our pristine tidal beaches within a stroll and Trebarwith Strand is 2 miles distant.
