A so beautiful cottage located in the center of Tintagel village, with its own private, gated entrance and private parking, making it very secure. The cottage is one of the most beautiful and comfortable we've stayed in, well-equipped with everything you need and more. Warm and spacious, it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Extremely clean, and the heating system is excellent. The wood-burning stove adds an extra touch of magic to the space. The owners are truly kind and ready to answer any questions or needs. Highly recommended.

The house is in an ideal location for Tintagel, the house was lovely as well, nice gated secure area and balconies/courtyards with views out over the fields were amazing, bathroom and slate toilet, large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, WiFi was solid, and some other nice Little touches like Salt and pepper, a few scones woth jam and cream,, dishwasher tablet and washing machine pods, easy key access and check in process, fully stocked kitchen utensils, some logs and kindling to start you off, dedicated parking, easily contactable house manager.
The only thing in these colder months would be the heating downstairs, there was a portable heater in ?one? of the rooms and we went and bought some more kindling and logs to warm the lounge and kitchen.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, es gibt einen Parkplatz, die Betten sind bequem. Es gibt zwei Terrassen. Es gibt genügend Platz für 5 Personen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Es gab kleinere Probleme. Manche konnten mit sehr nettem Kontakt zur Vermieterin gelöst werden. Den Fernseher konnten selbst drei digital begabte junge Erwachsene nicht zum Laufen bringen. Der Backofen ging nicht und wurde auch nicht repariert. Es gab zwar Kommunikation, aber ohne Ergebnis.

In principle in good location in centre of Tintagel. Spotlessly clean. Good shower-room (though basin slow to drain). Friendly message from host. Friendly neighbours.
Noise from building site near property at various times during normal working hours - inevitable drilling, banging, vehicle noise etc. Building work had plainly been going on some time (two substantially completed houses) so I felt I should have been warned and would not have taken property ( having building work going on next door to my own home this was particularly disappointing). Site clearly visible from outside seating area facing sea view.
Got keys from lockbox OK, but difficult to use. 80% of times key didnt seem to work from outside. so had to try repeatedly or use french window instead of front door.
Almost overpowering "airfreshener" smell on lower floor, which I found very unpleasant. (I think a plug in one had been left on in unventilated area for long time or was misfunctioning. and then later I found a second.) Took a long time to dissipate.
Double bed had lump ?seam? in middle.
Printed info provided needed some updating following easing of covid restrictions.
