Description
Nestled in an idyllic coastal village of Thorpeness, 4 Oakes Court is a beautifully presented three-bedroom home offering light-filled accommodation arranged over three floors. Just a short walk from the beach, famous boating Meare, a vibrant pub and a renowned golf course, this modern holiday cottage is an ideal bolthole for a relaxing seaside break.
The living area, designed for comfortable entertaining, opens out onto enclosed patio/garden through a glazed door. A well-equipped kitchen is positioned at the front of the house plus there is also a cloakroom on the ground floor.
The first-floor features two double bedrooms (out of which one can be twinned) and a family bathroom. A further staircase leads to the second floor and is dedicated to an en-suite master bedroom. Outside features an enclosed patio area – ideal for al fresco dining.
There are wonderful walks from the door but it’s a great base too for exploring the Suffolk Heritage coast and visiting near-by attractions including Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, the Sutton Hoo ship burial, Minsmere bird reserve, Framlingham Castle and Orford Castle.
