A fantastic dog and family friendly cottage on a small working farm, in a peaceful rural location close to Peak District attractions, including Chatsworth.. Ground Floor:

Electric vehicle charging point, at cost. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking, vaping or naked flames.. Acorn Cottage is located just one mile from the wonderful village of Ashover. It is a two-storey renovated barn ideal for families, couples and friends. The cottage is very private and peaceful and is perfect for a relaxing break or exploring the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.
The cottage provides comfortable accommodation for up to four guests and two well-behaved dogs. The living room has a wood burner for those cooler evenings, a Smart TV, DVD player and two leather sofas.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for family meals, complete with dining table and chairs. The garden room has seating for four and is the perfect place to unwind, read your favourite book and listen to the bird song in your private garden.
The downstairs shower room has a generous shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom, both with bedside tables, chests of drawers, hanging space plus the family bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin.
The enclosed sunny private garden is accessed from the garden room through a glazed side door. This space has a lawned area and established shrubs and you will find a table and chairs and BBQ.
If you are visiting friends and family in the area and would like to invite them over for the day or evening, the owners will happily provide extra seating. The owners also sell breakfast packs of home produced sausages, bacon, eggs and honey from their own beehives.
