Town: Taverham is a quaint village resting between Norwich, Dereham and Fakenham, in Norfolk. This charming village has roots dating back to the Domesday Book of 1086 and was in the 19th century a major producer of paper; today the village houses a variety of supermarkets and pubs and boasts a fantastic location on the outskirts of Norwich and is within reach of the Norfolk Broads and the coast at Walcott and Great Yarmouth. Visitors to the village can venture into the heart of Norwich to explore the history of the surrounding area at The Museum of Norwich at Bridewell, Pull’s Ferry, Cow Tower, Stanger’s Hall and the impressive, hilltop, Normal Norwich Castle. The city is also home to the idyllic and tranquil Plantation Garden where guests can roam through formal flower beds and a variety of trails and Eaton Park which houses 80 acres, a variety of sports pitches and wildlife activities.
