Located on Hawkswood Country Estate is a luxurious retreat 10 minutes from St Andrews.
Bowhill is nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Peat Inn.
Accommodation
Five spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom. With power showers, roll-top baths, memory foam super-sprung super-king zip and link beds, complimentary fibre-optic Wi-Fi, robes and slippers, Bowhill offers a warm welcome and an indulgent stay. A large accessible property all on one level offering two lounge dining areas at each end of the house and a high spec luxury dining kitchen. Outdoor relax in your very own hydro spa with views across the River Forth.
The Edinburgh Address Ltd manages bookings on behalf of the Property Owner. The property owner provides the accommodation.

Bowhill House offers guests the chance to unwind in our Hydro Spa, with room for all. It offers 43 state-of-the-art jets that relieve-tension in targeted areas including your back, neck, shoulders and calves by cascading up and down your back, a perfect way to relax and unwind. Enjoy dining al fresco with our impressive Mediterranean barbecue and outdoor patio area. Perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing with friends and family.
Bowhill House has been designed to incorporate sophisticated styling with unashamed luxury. Grand bedrooms are complimented by a feature-packed statement kitchen that inspire and enthuse and an expansive Mediterranean barbecue and patio area facilitate al fresco dining and sundowner drinks. Equally, the in-house catering team can provide delicious bespoke breakfasts while a roster of carefully chosen private chefs can create tailored menus to satisfy the most exacting palate. The nearby Peat Inn is home to a Michelin-starred restaurant while St Andrews offers an extensive range of dining options.

Note: Because public transport to the retreat is not straightforward, car hire or pre‑booked taxi transfer from the airport/station is highly recommended for convenience.
By Car
From Edinburgh Airport: Head north from Edinburgh Airport, then take M90 / A90 toward Fife/St Andrews. Continue toward St Andrews / Fife and follow signage to Hawkswood Country Estate / KY15 5LL. Estimated drive: ~ 42 miles, ~ 50 min under normal traffic.
From Glasgow Airport: Take M8 toward Edinburgh direction, then join M90 / A90 toward Fife/St Andrews. Proceed toward Hawkswood Country Estate / KY15 5LL via Fife roads. Drive time depends on traffic, but typically around 1 h 30 min (may be longer at peak).
By Train + Bus/Taxi (Public Transport)
Because Hawkswood Country Estate is rural and not directly on a mainline, the nearest railway stations are Cupar and Leuchars.
From Edinburgh Airport: Take airport tram/bus to city (or rail hub), then train to Cupar or Leuchars. From Cupar or Leuchars, need to get a taxi to Hawkswood Country Estate. Taxi services are recommended (especially outside frequent bus times). From a nearby town (e.g. St Andrews) you could first get to St Andrews then take a bus or taxi to Hawkswood Country Estate.
