I am so glad I chose to spend my birthday at La Mésanges. It was a truly magical experience that I will never forget. If you are planning a visit to Giverny, this is the place to stay! My Birthday Highlights: • Monet’s Garden: Being just a short walk away from Claude Monet’s house and gardens was a dream. I was able to spend the entire day immersing myself in the water lilies and the vibrant colors of the Clos Normand. • Wonderful Hosts: Sébastien and Alice are the heart of this place. They were so incredibly thoughtful and even arranged a lovely small birthday gift for me! Their hospitality made me feel right at home. • Perfect Dining: I had two dinners at the guinguettes, the famous riverside cafes captured in Renoir’s iconic paintings. The atmosphere was lively and historic—a perfect way to end a day of art. Highly recommend! This stay turned a simple birthday into a beautiful memory. I can’t wait to return.

There was nothing to complain about at all! The only 'bad' thing I could possibly say is that the cat stared at me!

L’environnement extérieur fait plus zone que accueillant. La terrasse est en fait 3m2 à la porte d’entrée (dont la serrure ne fonctionnait pas) avec une vue très moche de palissade et vieux portail hors d’usage. Très romantique ! Intérieur New style avec armoire rouillée, vieux lavabo fendu, vieille table tachée, gadgets électroniques très capricieux. Fil électrique pendouillant au plafond. Impression globale de fouillis et manque de soin et de goût du détail. Le lit large et correct. Douche hors normes actuelles.
