Η τοποθεσία παρόλο που απείχε από το ιστορικό κέντρο της Φλωρεντίας ήταν καλή, γιατί υπήρχε τακτική και εύκολη συγκοινωνία με τρένο σε απόσταση μίας στάσης από τον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό της Φλωρεντίας.
Υπήρχε μία δυσάρεστη εξωτερική οσμή, που όμως σταματούσε το βράδυ και εν τέλει μάλλον την συνήθιζες.
