We liked how much care was made to make our stay as comfortable as possible, sweets on beds, simple stocked items, even extra bits you wouldn't think of such as lip balms and razors, the bathroom and kitchen was stocked with all that you needed. The beds are comfortable, very soft sheets, clean towels. Appreciated all the extra information from the owner, including panflets of places to visit. Having our own locked parking spot was nice.

Although the house is lovely, it's definitely getting a little run down, the carpets need refreshing, they are all pulled from the floor, the kitchen has a damp smell, likely due to a previous leak as the ceiling has a stain and the electrics went out on night one (although very quickly fixed by the owner) due to water in the kitchen socket. The bathroom had a sewege smell which was unpleasant. The sofas aren't the most comfortable. The gates to the parking need adjusting as they drag on the floor, lifting them constantly for the last few days has hurt my back

The little touches like the hand written card welcoming us and the Easter eggs left

Could have been a little cleaner and possibly aired before we got there as was a smell of stale air and the kitchen plinth kept on falling off by the sink
