First of all, I need to announce that Edoardo was a FANTASTIC host! Right after booking, he sent me a message, instructing me to contact him if I needed anything. He was quick to offer restaurants, answer questions, everything. He even send me a happy birthday message during our stay. So thoughtful! The location of this property can't be beat! It is truly STEPS away from Bologna center. The train station is about a 15-20 minute walk. Traffic is horrid, so we found walking to be just as quick as a taxi (without bags). Edoardo sent us a link to a key code app that opened the main door to the building and the door to our apartment. This was absolutely ideal, as we travelled with our two adult sons (22 and 23). Our boys enjoyed the night life (or we could send them back to the apartment if we forgot something!) without worrying about losing keys. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and tidy. Three bedrooms was perfect for us - each of our boys had their own room and we had our private room. Note: One of the bathrooms only has a tub with a hand-held shower. The other bathroom has a small stall shower. It was tight, but totally functional. The kitchen was well equipped. On our arrival night, we bought essentials like wine, cheese, meats, fresh fruits, fresh bread (OMG! the BREAD!), etc from the market. Having an equipped kitchen was wonderful! The apartment also has a washer, which was fantastic (laundry soap included! THANK YOU!). One thing to note, this apartment is TRULY in the middle of Bologna. That comes with late night partying right outside the window. Closing the windows completely blocks out the street noise, but the room got hot with the window closed. This did not bother us at all. Perfect location in the center of Bologna. The apartment was very spacious and clean. Plenty of closet space. Washer was a plus. Coffee maker and hot pot.

A few little things missing for senior citizens like bathroom mats or shower grab bars/shelving in the shower. However don’t let the little things dissuade you from the positive aspects.
