The location and facility were fantastic! The property is on Loch Ness in the town of Fort Augustus and the building is beacutiful. It's like stepping into Hogwart's! The apartment is in great condition, modern, and all the amenities of home -- it even has a full kitchen and a clothes washing machine!
There's a weird quirk about the apartment that appears to be some type of fire code requirement. The doors to the bedrooms and to the living room are all very heavy and automatically close. There's a sign that says not to prop them open. It's a minor annoyance, but it was hard for my kids to open the doors.
