The property was super clan and the decor was thoughtfully considered. We weren't lacking anything that we needed. Parking was easy, right in front of the property. Bonus: the micro pub! Despite living in Worcester for many years until recently, I never knew it existed

The bathroom could do with a blind, please

Gorgeous Sandpiper Mews wasn't just a lodging. It felt like home away from home. For someone who has trouble sleeping on the first night in a new place, going to sleep was no trouble at all. It was clean, warm and cozy with an abundance of soft furnishings.

There was a lot of ceramic and glass decorations everywhere. With two young boisterous children, extra vigilance was required to prevent inappropriate touching and potential breakages. Fortunately, there were no mishaps.

The property is in an ideal location for easy access to the M5, yet it's quiet and near cycle/walking routes to the river. We had an enjoyable walk from Worcester Cathedral along the River Severn back to the house. Good parking right outside the house. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything we needed for an overnight stay, including assorted consumables. Jill had left a note about how to turn the heating on, which was greatly appreciated as it was a cold evening. The settee was very comfortable for relaxing in the evening. Everywhere was very clean. It was comforting to see that there was a carbon monoxide alarm in the twin bedroom as the boiler is in the wardrobe cupboard in that room.

There was no blind/curtain at the window in the bathroom. The cold tap in the bathroom sink needs some attention. The single bed I used in the twin bedroom was very uncomfortable - for an adult at least. The mattress was rather firm and felt a bit lumpy, with a lean towards the centre of the room along the length of the mattress. This gave the sensation of being about to fall out of the bed.
