We drove up from San Diego and liked the restaurants that were walking distance. Nice to have secure parking and the boats in the marina and kayakers were enjoyable. The king sized bed was very comfortable and I did not notice any strong petrochemicals.

I came with my parents for the weekend before a work meeting and Helen impressed all of us with her responsiveness. She was easily accessible and super kind. Also provided us with suggestions of places to go in the area. The parking spot she has was convenient to the elevators and everyone around the area was super friendly. My mom and I enjoyed morning walks around the marina looking at all the boats. Additionally, the laundry room was nice for us considering I could pack clothes to wash and then wear the following week so I didn’t overpack like normal :)

the property owner is attempting to charge us for a cracked outlet that was broken before we got there. she also wanted cash from us to check in early even though the property was empty.
the property was also junky, with the balcony clearly being used to store random junk (full sized plastic skeleton with a hat, empty flower pots, random jugs of water that I assume were for the plants) it was not well maintained. the window in the kitchen was broken and held together with packing tape, there were patches on the walls where paint had been touched up, with a color that didn't match, the "bathmats" were actually egg crate packing materials. It was not very clean.
It had a beautiful view, but in the end i felt taken advantage of. we are contesting the damage charge.
