8 Parker Street

The only negative was parking. Although there were no restrictions at all on street parking, when we left in the morning we found a note on our windscreen saying ‘Don’t park here again please’.

Well equipped, clean and cosy apartment not far from the city centre. Bed is very comfortable, heating provided, parking right in front of the building. Check-in and communication was very easy.

Nice little studio apartment, perfect for my needs for a week in Lancaster. Comfortable and clean.

Would have preferred a combi oven over a microwave. Could hear guests in flat above just moving around / talking normally.

Location is excellent. The apartment is very clean and spacious, warm, airy and comfortable.

Could not access most of the TV channels as most required a different code and were not available. Small kitchen facility outside the shower room/toilet door is not located in the best place regarding hygiene conditions. It took several phone calls and the promise of a text to receive the key code to eventually receive the code......28 minutes after the 3pm check in time and only then after the owner phoned after what was presumably her husband/partner had kept promising to send details. Four phone calls between 2.30-3.25pm. The most amazing thing however was included in the welcome pack. Guests are requested to strip the beds before leaving ! Unbelieveable! We have stayed in many top class hotels and self catering establishments over several years and have never came across a request like this before. Surely cleaners/maids etc are employed to do this as part of their job ?
