About this apartment rental
Small apartment a stone's throw from the Duomo and located at the center of the city's history and life. The apartment, renovated in terms of finishes and furnishings, is located on the third floor of an ancient Modenese building.
Worthy of note is the beautiful spiral staircase with helicoidal plant preserved in its original condition. Inside the apartment you can still see the ancient oak or chestnut beams and the brick vault that vertically delimits the bedroom.
The apartment has been created, in the past, dividing the space between the first floor, the main floor and the upper floor, being an ancient building the second floor is therefore equivalent to a third floor in modern buildings and, seen the stairs, the Access to disabled people is not possible. Despite being in the center and in the area of Modenese nightlife, overlooking the internal courtyard the apartment is very quiet. Cooling is guaranteed by two powerful air conditioners which also provide heating in winter. At home, for reasons of safety and comfort, there is no gas, all the appliances are electric, including the induction cooker. The apartment has a large bedroom, an entrance also used as a dining room, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, bidet, shower and washing machine.

Our stay in Modena was made more enjoyable by the comfortable and unique room we had via Claudio. Very good driving directions to the front door from Claudio were so important as you start to drive through the narrow streets of the old town. Key code, gate operation then photo directions to the room were accurate. Need to consider your strength as there is no lift and a few flights of stairs for bigger bags, which was clearly advised by Claudio, but we are travellers and this should not be a problem…
Parking options are around the town, white lines are free but check all signs. Very close to bars and restaurants.
We would highly recommend this for your stay in Modena.

We spent 4 nights in this comfy compact flat. Even though small it is packed with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Modern interior with history. Plenty of outlets which is not common in most historic flats. Centrally located, great neighborhood. Great neighborhood cafe only 2 doors down on the same street! Nice apertivos and yummy soup. Claudo is great to work with, we would definately stay here again. Ginny & Wayne B

We were met by Claudio who showed us the apartment and gave us advice and directions to local sights and activities. We also appreciated his helpful communication as we neared our arrival.
The apartment is very convenient in central Modena, walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment was clean, quiet, safe, comfortable and well equipped. A flight of stairs is required and if you are much over 6' you may have to duck a doorway or two. We enjoyed our visit and would happily stay here again!
