Great location, very central and close to the coast and various shops and bars.

Check-in and check out procedure is very poor. I received no instructions without asking for them myself on check-in where the man didn’t tell me which apartment in the block I was staying in. This involved me again having to ring him and ask. On check-out I also received no information on what to do with the key until after I had checked out so I ended up leaving the key in the same place I collected it from. I would strongly recommend setting up some automated instructions to avoid this in future as from a guest it feels like you’re being annoying and I’m sure it’s frustrating that I had to keep messaging and ringing the host. If you’re planning on staying here I’d recommend getting in contact a day before as the replies are not fast. The plug for the sink also stayed in once I’d pressed it and there was no lever to raise it again. The shower head is handheld which can be rather frustrating.

Very good location, quiet neighborhood, close to plenty of shops, services, and to the city center, but away from the hustle and bustle. The windows face an internal court. The price is quite competitive.

I did not receive any check-in information until the day of my arrival. I had to text and call the landlord to learn how to find and get into the accommodation. The apartment is not too bad but it would definitely benefit from some very basic improvements. Some of the electrical outlets are loosely taped to the wall, exposing the occupiers to the risk of electric shock (picture). The floor could have been cleaner. I collected a decent amount of dirt just by quickly sweeping the living room (picture). The sink in the bathroom leaks while being used and the plastic bowl that was placed under the piping (picture) is not sufficient to prevent water from flooding the floor. We had to limit ourselves to using the sink in the kitchen. There is also no air exchange in the toilet and in the bathroom, since the windows are completely blocked by a more recent neighbouring wall (picture). The mattress is covered by a sealed plastic sheet, which makes the bed unnecessarily noisy. The wifi connection is very slow.
