F-54 Maverick

The location is pretty solid and the pool is big and heated which is always nice. The open floor plan and decor are pretty comforting as well. The place looks great in pictures.

When we got there, there was an empty beer can in the sink, (we're sober) garbage in several trash cans, and used unflushed toilet paper in the toilet. The first impression did not go well. Combine that with cheap bar soap and pillows that must have come from the dollar store and you start to feel like the place is ran to look nice in postings, but maybe not feel nice in useage. There are also laminated signs everywhere. On the toilet, the sink, light switches, backdoor, etc. It felt pushy and came off a little tacky. Finally, I get having limits on the AC, especially in the summertime, but when you can't set the thermostat below 70 and it's actually colder than that outside, it's frustrating. I don't feel comfortable having my kids sleep with windows open either, so sleeping was harder than it needed to be. A few easy improvements and this place could be great.
