Escape to lakeside living! Sandy Cheeks lake house offers the perfect setup for your next getaway near the water. Picture yourself at the most beautiful and spacious cottage just steps from Lake Erie Beach. Our remodeled lake house is on a quiet street just 8 houses from the beach.
Established in 1930, our home has been renovated for your comfort and is nestled between trees with a private side yard, equipped with a picnic table. When you arrive, park on the cement driveway with room for four cars and get ready to kick you feet up and relax.
Our intent is to keep our cottage in top notch shape. Therefore, it must be left in a neat and clean condition upon checkout. We charge extra for excessive cleanup.
Upstairs, you will find a cozy living area featuring a comfortable living room with access to a huge deck, with a propane Weber grill and ample seating that allows you to relax and enjoy the lake breeze. The focal point of the cottage is the exquisite sunsets and a peek of the lake that can be enjoyed from one of the few outdoor decks in the neighborhood. Upstairs, there is also a dining room perfect for sharing meals, and a fully equipped kitchen with a convenient coffee bar to start your mornings right. A half-bath is also located on this level.
In our cottage, you will find three separate bedrooms, with one bedroom upstairs and two downstairs. You will find the charming upstairs bedroom with one queen bed, to accommodate two people. Downstairs boasts two spacious bedrooms for restful nights. The second bedroom has two queen beds, as well as a loft single bed, which can accommodate up to five people. The third bedroom is also perfect for a couple or a family, with a queen bed, as well as twin bunk beds, to accommodate up to four people.
We provide an easy-to-use informational binder at the cottage, with some of our favorite local restaurants, bars, shops and activities. The binder provides descriptions and mileage or estimated travel time to the local adventures. You will also find detailed instructions for using the household amenities. We provide HBO Max and have high speed internet for those indoor evenings of relaxation after a day at the beach.

We stayed at SandyCheeks over Labor Day weekend for a last minute getaway before school begins. The house is super cute, well decorated and maintained. Very comfortable. The owners thought of everything! From the coffee pods to the board games, they were well prepared for a family to stay. The upstairs deck was great on warm evenings. Short and easy walk to the beach which has a playground. Quick drive to buffalo and Niagara Falls. Lots of hiking in the nearby area. Hosts were quick to answer questions throughout the booking process and our stay. Highly recommended!!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Cheeks. It is a very comfortable, well decorated, clean, remodeled home near Lake Erie. It was perfect for 5 adults. We enjoyed the above garage deck that was off the living room. We had steaks on the gas grill. We commend the owners for their quick response and delivery of a propane tank for the grill after we found out it was almost empty. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make meals and easy clean up with the dishwasher. You can eat at the large dining table and there is ample seating on the deck. The main suggestion we have after our stay is that the owners could mark the platform inside the main entrance or place a colored rug on it. The flooring is all the same tone making it easy to trip up or down. We had our elderly parents with us so it may have been nice to have a hand railing on both sides of the staircase. Also, even though the kitchen was well stocked one thing we needed and couldn't find was an ice cream scoop. The bathrooms are nice. The beds are comfortable. We would recommend renting Sandy Cheeks.
