About this farm stay rental
Once the site of a rum running operation, the Bootlegger Barrel House is a historic farm house located at Whisky Run Golf Club. Relax & BBQ on the private deck of this 4 bedroom home while overlooking the 18th green.
A large kitchen and dining area on the main floor opens to the back deck and features modern cupboards and appliances. If you don't feel like cooking, the Bootlegger Bistro provides lunch and dinner, and is located in the fully licensed clubhouse, right across the road.
Each floor of the house has a sitting room with flat screen TV, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms with king beds. A pull out couch in each sitting area allows up to 12 people to sleep comfortably.
One km. south could have you swimming in Lake Erie, and one km. north gets you biking on Niagara's Friendship Trail. Or you can enjoy golfing on 27 scenic holes right in your back yard.
A five minute drive has you in downtown Port Colborne and Historic West Street: where you can wine and dine, while watching the ships sail through the Welland Canal. Safari Niagara is 15 minutes away, and Niagara Falls, plus many of Niagara's favorite wineries are within a half hour by car.

We enjoyed the farm house. It was very clean with all cooking needs were available in the kitchen. Not many extra’s, but all basics met...An information binder with a few restaurant recommendations or things to do in the surrounding area would have been helpful. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the sun set, and the golfers at their game. Communication was friendly and all questions answered.Would recommend this property to all interested in golfing or just enjoying the area for a few days. A great place to cycle the Friendship Trail and the Welland Canal!
