Exceptional stay - felt truly like home
I stayed for two nights, and honestly, this is one of the most complete and thoughtfully designed homes I have ever stayed in. There was absolutely everything - even things that are sometimes missing in my own home.
The shower system is the best I’ve ever experienced, with hot water that feels like a full spa day. Everything was carefully considered, down to body lotion. Each room has its own reed diffuser, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the house.
The house has two floors, and having a toilet on each floor is incredibly convenient. Everything was spotless, with high-quality bed linens and truly excellent, healthy pillows that made sleeping a pleasure. There is a large smart TV with A+ image quality, and the house is perfectly heated - in winter, you would be hard-pressed to find a place on the island that is this warm and comfortable.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil and small appliance you could need. The oven and stove work as well as those in a professional kitchen, and the tableware is elegant and high quality. I even hosted a dinner for my friends at the six-person dining table.
Both bedrooms have more wardrobe space than you could possibly need - enough to stay comfortably for months. The location is also excellent: the village center is just a 6-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away.
Although it was winter and I couldn’t fully enjoy the front garden, the nighttime lighting and outdoor seating made it easy to imagine how wonderful summer evenings here must be.
And finally, one detail that truly impressed me: the electrical system. Having multiple power outlets everywhere, on every wall, is an incredible level of comfort. As someone who has traveled almost all over the world, it’s rare to find a home that uses its space so intelligently and feels so complete.
I absolutely loved this place and truly felt at home. I already know that when I return, this will be my home again.
Honestly, there was nothing not to like. Everything was so well thought out that it felt effortless to stay here.

The house is in a very sweet village. You'd need to be an expert driver, as the streets are really narrow. We didn't have any parking problems; there was parking right in front of the house.
We looked at the house's location on a map. Yes, it's a bit far from the center, but anywhere you want to go on Lesbos is at least 45 minutes. Since driving isn't a problem for us, we explored everywhere. There are delicious, untouched restaurants near the house. Vatera Beach is right nearby, in my opinion, the cleanest beach on the island. There are restaurants on the beach. You can even find a market open in Vatera on Sundays.
The house has all the necessities and details considered. The bathrooms are renovated and the house is well-maintained, the beds and pillows are new, and every room has air conditioning. The house has been made functional and comfortable. If you're obsessed with cleanliness and hygiene, you can choose this house. The sheets, pillows, mattress protectors, and towels are spotless. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure to include small gestures. As soon as we entered the house, we were greeted with wine, soft drinks, water and small snacks. Organic tomatoes, cucumbers and eggs from their own garden were left at the door for Sunday morning breakfast. What a kind thought! The owner is always in touch and tries to help with any questions you may have.

Το Polixniati’s House είναι ένα κατάλυμα κατάλληλο για οικογένειες αλλά και για ζευγάρια, είναι ευρύχωρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο για να γίνει η διαμονή όσο πιο εύκολη γίνεται. Το σπίτι είναι όμορφα διακοσμημένο και με την ζεστασιά μιας εξοχικής κατοικίας που σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν το σπίτι σου. Η αυλή είναι εξαιρετική ειδικά για να κάθεσαι το βράδυ. Όσον αφορα τον οικοδεσπότη τον κύριο Γιάννη είναι ένας ευγενέστατος άνθρωπος καλοσυνάτος με πρόθεση να σε βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστείς και με το τηλέφωνο του ανοιχτό 24/7. Σίγουρα σε επόμενη επίσκεψη μου στο νησί θα επιλέξω το ίδιο κατάλυμα.

Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ όμορφο και άνετο, με μεγάλη αυλή, και τα περισσότερα πράγματα μέσα ήταν καινούρια. Έμεινα για μία μέρα λόγω δουλειάς, αλλά ήταν μια πολύ ευχάριστη εμπειρία. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικός, με πολύ εύκολη και άμεση επικοινωνία. Θα το επέλεγα ξανά χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!
