The Les Deux Sabots gîte offers comfortable and spacious accommodation of 100 m² spread over three levels. On the ground floor, you'll find a garage, an entrance hall, and a bathroom with two showers and a toilet. The first floor features a spacious living area with an open-plan kitchen and dining area, as well as two bedrooms with double beds and a separate toilet. The top floor offers a bright mezzanine with Velux windows overlooking the roof of the church in Sauvain. This space, furnished as a bedroom with two single beds and two additional sleeping spaces, also includes a relaxation area with a television, DVD player, and a hanging net for stargazing or observing the historic church roof. Car parking is available on-site in the communal parking lot in the church square, just a short walk from the gîte. To make your stay even more enjoyable, utilities and heating are included. A holiday rental with nature, heritage, and discovery awaits you in Sauvain, Loire! Perched high above the Lignon Valley, Sauvain, the birthplace of Fourme de Montbrison cheese, is home to a museum dedicated to this iconic cheese. Explore the wild landscapes of the Colleigne Nature Reserve or climb to the summit of Pierre-sur-Haute. In winter, the Chalmazel ski resort (10 km) will delight snow sports enthusiasts. Here, the Forez region reveals its rich heritage, blending nature and traditional skills. Located in the heart of the village of Sauvain, a designated "village of character," the gîte (holiday cottage) has been converted from a former stable, harmoniously combining stone, wood, and modern amenities. It enjoys an ideal location, just steps from the village park with picnic tables, a pétanque court, and a children's playground. Although the gîte does not have a private outdoor space, it allows you to fully enjoy the shared green areas.
