About this cottage rental
The location of this property is simply marvellous, discovered with its own woods and fishing lake.. All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.

Kitchen area: Breakfast Area, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer
Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Wi-Fi Welcome pack. Front garden with patio, firepit, barbecue and garden furniture. Tennis court, ancient woodland, wildflower meadow and a private trout lake in over 20 acres. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children. There is an unfenced lake in the grounds.. This beautifully located cottage is found in the grounds of the owners’ home and the immediate sense of tranquillity and peacefulness is overwhelming. The grounds are exceptionally manicured and you have a private sitting out area as you exit the back door to your secluded courtyard. This is a fantastic holiday home located in a unique part of the world that also boosts its own private wood and fishing lake. If the mood takes, you also have a tennis court in which to use just a minute’s walk from your front door.
Entering the cottage, you will be welcomed into the large sleeping room with a comfortable kingsize bed, and costy sitting area with TV. There is a a separate kitchen and dining area, which is very spacious and you certainly will feel comfortable and at home. There is also a lovely shower room.
The owner created this space with the holiday maker in mind, and she really wants you to feel welcome and at home. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to stay in a very special home with some spectacular walks and you are quiet literally surrounded by nature. This really has everything you need for a week break with all the facilities that are available for you, with lots of peace and quiet.
The owner has some hens that are close by and lay fresh eggs and will provide some ear plugs so that you can have a restful morning should you need them. All in all, this is a home that is very unique in its location and somewhere that is going to make some very nice memories for a couple looking for a romantic weekend away in the countryside.

Please note the owner breeds rare chickens, and there are cockerels too. Therefore you may hear some noise.

Thank you so much Sanne for being such an awesome host. Your attention to detail was fabulous. Your 'welcome' cake went down so well amongst other goodies. As for the Cottage, my stay was just so comfortable and the surroundings were so peaceful and tranquil. My highlight was spending time by the Lake, seeing those beautiful waterlillies. I highly recommend this gem of a place. Such a shame to leave but will definitely be back.
