Classic Piha Bach - Seaview Road

De Kontakt mir der Eigentümerin war sehr gut, und wir hatten insgesamt einen netten Aufenthalt in Piha. Die Küche war großzügig ausgestattet, mit etwas Geduld hatte man den Herd auch im Griff. Die Einrichtung im Haus war sehr persönlich, was uns wiederum gefallen hat, weil es eine wohnliche Atmosphäre gab.

Wir waren nicht sehr gut darauf vorbereitet, dass der Weg zum Haus sehr steil und teilweise eng war (Problem mit dem Koffer). Wir sind ein Paar in fortgeschrittenen Alter, und so war der Weg zum Haus etwas beschwerlich. Zudem sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben, dass das Geländer vom Balkon eine Gefahr für kleinere Kinder darstellt. Sie könnten unversehens hinunterstürzen.

The views were amazing! Such a relaxing place to stay, the path was a little steep but all part of the adventure! Great communication with Trinette, will definitely stay here again :)

The stairs up to this property are most certainly not for the less able but for those who make it the views are beautiful and worth it. We could not get our hire car onto the parking gravel slope so we had to park down the road. We took limited bags up with us due to the access. The property is not for those who like clinical and minimalist bland motel or hotel rooms. What you are faced with is a cluttered quirky beach vibe. This will appeal to many as part of its charm. We were provided with heaps of drinking water and the indoor and outdoor showers are good and hot.

As a family of 3 we tend to spread out and you need to take care in a property like this that you gather up all your belongings as it’s like being in someone’s home. We were a little taken aback at first but grew to like the place.
