About this apartment rental
We are a professional couple - Sandra and Michael - working from home - origin from Germany, living in New Zealand for more than 20years.
We live in the main house.

2 bedrooms in self-contained flat, front room with Queen size bed, built in wardrobe. The second bedroom with double bed and also built in wardrobe. Spacious bathroom with shower over bath, heater and linen cup board, washing machine. Dinning and kitchen area, full equipped to prepare breakfast and light meals. Lounge space has a TV and DVD entertainment unit.
Private sunny deck and off-street parking for one car in front of the flat, gate for security at the top of the driveway. Wireless internet access provided and air condition for hot summer days, heat pump for cooler days and nights.
We would like to host visitors, who want a homestay to explore the West Coast beaches and Waitakere Regional Park or looking for a quiet place out of town. We are happy to help organize and planing traveling around the country, can arrange transport and accommodation for further destinations.
The house is located about 5 minutes drive from Titirangi. The small township offers a range of shops, cafes and restaurants, also Art Galleries and a Sunday market – everything in walking distance to the spacious car park at the Community center.
From the holiday flat it is only a 3 minute walk to next bus stop which connects to Titirangi, New Lynn transport center and from there further into Auckland CBD.
You stay at a sunny top hill Waitakere bush section, adjoining Waitakere National park, in walking distance to Arataki Tourist center, where many walks and trails start, leading into the National park. Plenty of opportunities for hiking and walking for all levels, many walks start at our doorstep, also popular for mountain biking and cycling.
Piha, Te Henga and Whatipu – West coast beaches about 30 minute drive away and famous for surfing. Cornwallis and Huia allow for fishing in the Manukau Harbour, both spots have a wharf.
In a circle of 15km around Titirangi there are also plenty of opportunities for playing Golf.

Positioned just outside the village of Titirangi which offers everything you need shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely gallery. Easy access to many walking tracks and beaches. We had a great stay, sitting on the balcony looking out at the extensive views across the harbour.Our hosts were lovely, friendly and accommodating, very hospitable.

Sandra and Mike have a delightful hideaway in the bush with lovely views . A warm comfortable stay.It was perfectly suited for us with our friends living nearby.Definitely would stay again next time when in Titirangi.Claire & paul

Warm welcome to an excellent well equipt and designed apartment.
An ideal location for accessing the famous Waitakere Ranges and the West Coast Beaches.
The view from the deck was outstanding with birds a plenty.
All our needs were met and our hosts Sandra and Michael were available if and when needed, we will definately be returning in the future.
