The Podika is a charming, cozy space very well located a couple of minutes drive from Lerwick, with a great view over the sea and a terrace to take it in from. The facilities have everything you need for self-catering, the bed is comfortable and the location is quiet. The hosts could not have been more helpful and obliging. It was very reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation. We travel a lot and this was one of the best places we have stayed in.
The only suggestion I would make is more detailed directions. We had to call when we knew we were near but still couldn't find the house. I would suggest saying to turn onto Shurton Brae at the signed exit on the main road, turn right and then continue through the cattle grid, then you see the house with the boat design on the fence. It is very distinctive but you don't see it until you are right on it. The cattle grid is the most helpful marker if you are driving
