Gorgeous 4 bedroom Townhouse

A very nicely appointed townhouse, not too far a walk from the town, with convenience stores, interesting historic buildings and a bus stop nearby. House was light and bright, warm and clean. The rooms were spacious, especially the kitchen diner, sitting room and bedrooms. The kitchen was easy to work in. We welcomed having a secluded garden to look out on. We also enjoyed the park, once the race course. Parking nearby was not a problem. The host was very responsive to all queries, and communication was good.

We sorely missed a good selection (and number) of glasses for ordinary drinks and wine. Extra coffee mugs would have been welcome. Not dislikes - suggestions: A safety rail to lower bedroom would have been a real help for one guest. Also, to know - 1st floor bathroom can only be reached by a short flight of stairs which would have been helpful to know for anyone unsure of their footing; nb there are steps to negotiate both inside and out. Some lamps in the sitting room would be good. The outside area, front of the house (basement level) was untidy - cardboard boxes and various items lying around - easily remedied!

Could do with a deep clean including dust lots of cobwebs but staff excellent and very attentive and sorted issues we had straight away, so very grateful and impressed with the service

Stunning townhouse. Four storeys of hidden gems. The attic bedroom had a bed from a fairy tale. The basement bedroom had all the facilities suitable for a self contained living area. A walk in closet which was wonderful. Kitchen outstandingly beautiful with great facilities. Outside sitting area lovely to relax after our journey from North Wales. Wish we could have stayed for longer but we were there for the Silverstone Weekend so three days was all we could spare.

I liked all aspects of the property just wished I could have stayed there longer.

Lovely, quirky townhouse with plenty of space to host our family reunion for the weekend. Nice garden for the children to play in during our stay and spacious bedrooms with bathrooms on each floor. The hosts were very helpful and were good at keeping in contact before our stay and checking in with us whilst at the property.

The layout of the house is quite unusual with a huge bedroom with an en-suite in the basement, double and single bedroom on the first floor and the 3rd double bedroom in the attic conversion. We were staying with very small children so we ended up not using the attic room as the stairs were too steep for them. Plus it was incredibly hot in the attic, however we were staying during a heatwave so this might not usually be the case.
