About this cabin rental
Your cabin retreat is just far away from the city to be quiet, and close enough to access everything the Asheville area has to offer. Two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms and a lofted nook/area for TV watching and possibly kids. We are about 15 minutes from the quaint riverside downtown of Marshall. Drive down the hill about 20-30 minutes into Asheville. Kayaking, fishing, biking and hiking all available in the area!
PLEASE READ: Our gravel driveway is steep in parts and some guests have trouble. We advise 4WD or AWD, especially in wet or winter weather. However, plenty of 2wd cars get up just fine.
We have a full kitchen, deck with a view, a new fire pit and deck grill (small propane). Two full bathrooms, no tubs. We accept pets with a pet fee. We have a limit of 5 guests.
Please note we have a steep driveway and recommend AWD or 4WD if you may be uncomfortable on mountain roads. 2WD should get you up fine unless there is heavy snow, which is rare.

The VRBO was wonderful. Modern and clean. The driveway was brutal. I don’t believe that it had a warning in the original description. Once we turned our traction control off, we were able to make it up the driveway. After our stay we have mud and gravel in our tires and it’s been over a week. The sound has gotten better but still there.

Matt's A-Frame home was amazing! Everything was in wonderful shape and the home is like new! Furniture is good quality and the beds were super comfy. The home has everything you need and the view - just WOW! Very private and you feel right at home away from it all. I will say that the driveway is steep so AWD vehicle helps to get up the mountain drive. Matt was a super host and very responsive.
