Overlooking vast meadows, this modern holiday home in Vault-de-Lugny, is ideal for a large family or group. The home has a fenced garden and roofed terrace, where you can spend peaceful vacations and have memorable family time. The owners live on the land next door (not directly in front of the holiday house so you keep your privacy). They are available if you have any questions during your stay.
This holiday home is located just 1 km away from the forest, making it an ideal pick for a relaxing holiday. The restaurants and general stores are both located at a distance of 1 km.
You can relax in the roofed terrace or garden or enjoy alfresco meals with friends. High chair and cot are available on request. It also has a kitchen with modern amenities like oven, microwave and fridge-freezer. There is a living cum dining room with TV and bar so that you can chill with your loved ones. Parking is on-site.
You can also avail public transport 3 km away, for easy connectivity. Nearest Airport is 100 km away.

Our 2-week stay in this home was truly fabulous in every way.
The home is large, spacious, and gorgeously appointed. It is a visually pleasing blend of historic wood and stone; the funiture is harmonious and comfortable; and there is every modern convenience. There is cozy loft sitting space on the second floor that gives the house special beauty and charm, and the outdoor back porch/eating area is breathtaking.
The owners keep two pet donkeys in a large pasture behind the house. The gentle, friendly donkeys add an extra layer of fun, and a day does not feel complete wiithout giving them a treat of lettuce, carrots, or apples.
Our hosts Catherine and Michel are kind, interesting, helpful, and very solicitous hosts. They will take good care of you to help you have the best possible experrience!
My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this home, together with Catherine and Michel, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

wonderful stay in Vermoiron. House was lovely - bigger and better than the photos. Hosts were helpful. Area beautiful. A very relaxing stay.

Quirky property - well positioned for sightseeing in pretty rural location. Easy access to Avallon for shopping and the A6. Generally well equipped but no top sheets were provided to replace duvets during the heat wave we experienced. Also very surprised to find that there were no cushions for the plastic patio chairs. Unfortunately the owner was on holiday during our stay and the caretaker didn't speak English otherwise some of these problems might have been resolved.
Access to the patio is only through the bathroom (!) on the first floor or up steps from the utility area of the kitchen - no handrail - very tricky when carrying food - then up more steps to the actual patio.
Our bedroom had a shutter and fly screen but our friends' bedroom had neither so they had to sleep with the windows closed to keep the mosquitoes out. Two bedrooms had washbasins. The second shower room could only be accessed through the single bedroom on the ground floor.
Plenty of information/maps on places to visit. Large orchard style garden and the resident donkeys enjoyed attention.
Overall we enjoyed our stay as the house is well placed for sightseeing.
