At the end of a quiet country lane, between the landscapes of Normandy and Brittany, Manoir de Crux welcomes you to a peaceful and unspoiled setting.
This 11th-century manor house is surrounded by fields and a large enclosed garden filled with trees and flowers, offering open views over the Norman countryside. A place where life slows down naturally — perfect for enjoying long outdoor meals, relaxing in the garden, and spending evenings by the fireplace or around the traditional bread oven.
Guests come here both to explore the region and to enjoy the calm atmosphere of the manor itself.
An authentic and welcoming home
The manor has preserved the charm of old French country houses: exposed wooden beams, a historic staircase, fireplaces, and original materials create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Recent improvements have been made to ensure comfort throughout the year:
efficient aerothermal heating,
renovated bathroom,
modern and practical amenities.
The spirit and character of the house have been carefully preserved.
A relaxing countryside setting
Guests can enjoy:
sun loungers and a hammock,
pétanque and volleyball areas,
the traditional bread oven for convivial evenings,
a bright veranda overlooking the garden,
fireplaces for cooler evenings.
An ideal setting for outdoor dining, summer evenings, and quality time with family or friends.

Manoir de Crux can accommodate up to 9 guests.
The house includes:
a fully equipped kitchen,
a living room with fireplace,
a bright veranda,
two bathrooms, including one recently renovated,
several bedrooms spread over two floors,
bed linen and towels provided.
An ideal location to explore the region
The manor is close to many of the region’s most iconic destinations:
Mont-Saint-Michel,
Granville and its beaches,
Saint-Malo,
the coastline and villages of Normandy and Brittany.
The area is especially well suited for:
guided walks across the bay,
cycling trips (e-bike rental and delivery available),
kayaking,
hiking,
discovering local gastronomy.
In-home wellness massages are also available upon reservation.
Group stays
For larger families or groups of friends, it is also possible to rent the neighboring cottage Le Mélèze (sleeps 6), completely independent from the manor.

Fantastic building in a wonderful region. Heating in late December was adequate once we figured out that doors to unheated rooms, including the 900-year-old tower stairwell, needed to be closed.

One of the beds on second floor was uncomfortable, trip hazards for young children, particularly in kitchen area. On the plus side, the chateau is very well equipped, beautiful crockery, dishes and bowls. Stunning location, historic chateau with ancient aspects. We really enjoyed our stay and thank Katia and Gerhard for their attention to detail. We thoroughly recommend this property and its location.

What a dream! Everything about our stay was amazing. The home was so unique, once in a lifetime stay. Perfect space for our large family of 8. We were able to explore small towns around us and Mont Saint Michel with ease. But ask our kids, they would’ve stayed at this home, yard and game room forever! Katia was the sweetest host, giving us tips, being attentive and so warm to our kids. It felt like saying bye to family as we left this morning.
