Kauri Hill Estate is a secluded Northland hideaway designed for rest, reflection, & connection to the land.
Perched above Whangaroa Harbour, the villa offers sweeping water views, total privacy & a calm, natural setting surrounded by native bush & birdsong. Thoughtfully designed interiors open onto generous decks—perfect for slow mornings, long sunsets, & stargazing evenings in the hot tub.
Your stay includes more than 5 star accommodation—you’ll have the freedom of our entire 60 hectare estate.

Step away from the constant buzz of modern life and find peace and sanctuary within our walls. Experience the quiet allure of Kauri Hill Estate, a Northland retreat offering two levels of luxury accommodation: the intimate Panorama Villa and the spacious Owners Lodge.

OUR PANORAMA VILLA:
Our European inspired Villa is designed to provide the utmost comfort and sophistication. Enjoy breathtaking views, lavish furnishings, and state-of-the-art amenities that cater to your every need.

★ 272 square metres – open plan design
★ full kitchen, dining, lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms, office, laundry + balcony
★ both bedrooms have King Beds that can be made into 2 x large singles
★ two ensuites with Antipodes products and proper hair dryers
★ air conditioning & underfloor heating

The villa and the entire estate is yours while you are here!
We really encourage our guests to wander and explore all we have on offer.
There is ample parking . We have had guests bring boats and these can be easy accommodated at the Gatehouse.
Other things to note
★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION VILLA ★
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
Most guests comment on how clean our villa is on arrival.
★ CLEANING & SANITISATION HOT TUB ★
We do not use any chemicals in our hot tub.
We freshly fill it with pure mountain spring water.
We then empty it after every guest and sanitise it before refilling.
★ OPTIONAL DAILY CLEANING SERVICE ★
Whilst our accommodation is Self-Catered, many guests have asked for a daily cleaning service. Any why not, you are on holidays.
We offer a daily room clean. Our housekeeper can come to your villa and service your room.
This includes making of beds, new towels and a general tidy up.
The charge is $65 per day, please let us know if you'd like this service when booking.

Returning guests! We love this place and plan to make it a yearly stay. The place is so warm and welcoming. We even received a welcome back basket. The thoughtfulness was very sweet. I cant fault anything about the place or management!

We had a glorious weekend at Kauri Hills Estate. The luxurious estate is so special, with magnificent breathtaking views and a tastefully landscaped garden/ nature reserve. The villa was quirky, soft and comfortable, beautifully decorated with all the high-end amenities you need, plus a great sound system and a spa with no chemicals. We had such an amazing and relaxing retreat. Joe and Rob were next-level hosts - they spoilt us with an amazing star-gazing evening (a must-do if you book at Kauri Hills Estate). And they truly made our stay so special and memorable. Their service was impeccable, and Rob and Joe know how to give their guests a personal touch and make them feel welcome. There is so much more that Kauri Hills Estate offers that is not easily found in other stays - if you are looking for that special getaway - This is a great place to be- A Hidden Gem!
