Located at 44 Taupo Bay Road, Taupo Bay, Far North, Northland,NZ.
It has 5 Bedrooms and 2 Bathroom . Absolute Beachfront!
It’s difficult to objectively describe Taupo Bay & the magic that surrounds this spectacular place – probably why it’s just been rated as one of the top 10 beaches in NZ!
We have been coming here for years & every time without fail, we get shivers of childish excitement as the first glimpses of the bay come into view. Even newbies to the beach have described that same breath-taking awe as they reach the top of the road & see the dramatic headlands, golden sand & aqua waters. This is where relaxing just happens & it is quite simply, pure magic.
Think old school beach holiday stuff - the nearest latte is a 20minute drive away – well worth the drive & an explore of Mangonui village. The Taupo Bay camp store is there to provide the basics with Kerikeri an easy drive away as a great day out for stocking up, browsing the boutiques, markets & exploring historic landmarks. Renowned for fantastic fishing & diving, Taupo Bay also has a unique curve which gives great surfing swells at one end, calm snorkling waters at the other. Throw in rock pooling, beach combing, caves for investigating & of course swimming at one of the safest beaches in New Zealand, the adventures are endless.
Imagine all the wonderful memories you can create with loved ones. This bach is a large dwelling with enough room for friends & extended family – 4 dble bedrooms, a ‘granny flat’, two full bathrooms, huge living spaces, games room, 2nd level decking, expansive lawns right to the waters edge.
For us, the charm of this bach is how little it has been changed over the last 30 years other than a tasteful freshen up – this gives easy fuss-free holidaying.

An amazing location right on the beach at Taupō Bay with enough rooms to fit our family including my dad, my sister and I and our families including children. The communication was excellent and despite the rain there was plenty to keep us entertained including a pool table and surfboards. Thanks for having us.

place was lovely but we all found the stairs quite steep, running out of water the only down side.
